🔒Private Mode

Create a room, share the code, and enjoy a private match with friends.

    • Players can create a private room and share a unique code with friends to join an exclusive game.

    • Ideal for playing with known opponents (e.g., friends or family) in a controlled environment.
    • Follows standard Ludo rules with 2–4 players, where each player controls their own tokens.
    • Offers a personalized experience with no random matchmaking.

🌐Online Mode

Compete globally, set Win Coins, and join thrilling matches for rewards.

    • Players are matched with others online, allowing for global competition.
    • Features a coin-based system: players set a Win Coin amount (the prize for winning), and the Entry Coin adjusts accordingly as a buy-in to join the game.
    • Standard Ludo rules apply, with the added excitement of competing for virtual rewards.
    • Matches can be 2–4 players, depending on participants.

🤖 Bots Mode

Practice solo against 1–3 AI bots, perfect for sharpening your skills.

    • Designed for solo play or practice, allowing 1 human player to compete against 1 to 3 AI-controlled bots.
    • Bots follow the same Ludo rules, with adjustable difficulty levels (if implemented) to suit the player’s skill.
    • Perfect for honing strategies or enjoying Ludo without needing other human players.

🕹️Local Mode

Gather 2–4 friends for pass-and-play fun on one device.

    • Played on a single device with 2–4 human players taking turns (pass-and-play style).
    • Each player controls their tokens, following standard Ludo rules.

Ludo is a strategy-based board game for 2 to 4 players, where the objective is to move all your pieces (tokens) from your starting area (yard) to your home triangle (center of the board) before your opponents. The game is played on a square board with a cross-shaped path, featuring colored tracks for each player (typically red, blue, green, and yellow). Players roll a die to move their tokens, aiming to outmaneuver opponents while racing to the finish.

  1. Setup:

    • The Ludo board consists of a central home path (a square or triangle in the center), four colored home tracks (one for each player), and a shared outer track.

    • Each player controls 4 tokens placed in their respective starting yard (a colored corner of the board).

    • The game supports 2 to 4 players, depending on the mode (Private, Online, Bots, or Local).

  2. Starting the Game:

    • Each player rolls a six-sided die to determine who goes first (highest roll starts, with ties resolved by re-rolling).

    • To move a token out of the starting yard onto the board’s entry point (the colored starting square), a player must roll a 1 or 6.

    • If a 1 or 6 is rolled, the player moves a token to the starting square and gets an extra turn (rolls again). If no tokens can move, the turn passes to the next player.

  3. Movement:

    • Players take turns rolling the die and moving one of their tokens clockwise along the outer track by the exact number shown on the die.

    • Tokens move along the shared outer track until they reach the entry to their colored home track (a straight path leading to the home triangle).

    • To enter the home track, a token must land exactly on the entry square (no overshooting).

    • Once in the home track, tokens move toward the home triangle (center) with exact rolls. Tokens in the home track are safe from capture.

  4. Capturing Opponents’ Tokens:

    • If a player’s token lands on a square occupied by a single opponent’s token (on the outer track or starting square), the opponent’s token is “captured” and sent back to their starting yard.

    • Capturing an opponent’s token grants the player an extra turn.

    • If two or more tokens of the same player occupy a square, they form a “block” and cannot be captured.

  5. Winning the Game:

    • A player wins by moving all 4 of their tokens into the home triangle (center of the board) via their home track.

    • Exact rolls are required to land in the home triangle. If a roll overshoots, the player must choose another move or skip their turn.

    • In a 4-player game, the game can continue to determine 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places, or end once the first player wins (depending on mode settings).

  6. Special Rules:

    • Rolling a 1: Grants an extra turn. If a player rolls three 1s in a row, their furthest token is killed and send back to home.

    • Safe Squares: The starting square of each color and the home triangle are safe zones where tokens cannot be captured.

    • No Moves Available: If a player cannot make a legal move with the rolled number, their turn is skipped.

Prioritize Getting Tokens Out: Roll a 1 early to move tokens from the yard to the board.

Create Blocks: Position two tokens on the same square to form a safe block, protecting them from capture.

Capture Wisely: Target opponent tokens to send them back and gain extra turns, but avoid risky moves that expose your tokens.

Plan Home Track Entry: Position tokens strategically to land exactly on the home track entry with precise rolls.
